Thanks for posting these important links.

I was especially impressed by Canon Dr. Vinay Samuels following statement: “Bishop Wright makes his case in defence of the leadership of his superior, the Archbishop of Canterbury, in calling the Lambeth Conference for all bishops in the current state of the canyon of division that separates the liberals and the conservatives in the communion. It is my hope that his superior distances himself from the spirit evidenced in Bishop Wright’s remarks. If he fails to do so, then those who have accepted the Archbishop’s invitation to go to Lambeth have every reason to believe that they will be entering a world dominated by the spirit of cultural superiority that marks Bishop Wright’s article.”

  2. Bishop Ijaz Inayat Says:

Thanks to GAFCON, the issue has been taken seriously for the first time ever since it started and now we know for sure it will be resolved. I praise The Primate of Nigeria; the Most Reverend Peter Akinola (along with the entire leadership of GAFCON) has very clearly and firmly answered to the open letter of twenty-one bishops of England and represented the concern of the “Bible respecting community” of the Anglican tradition worldwide.

I personally have learnt that while we still remain Anglicans and testify our faith based on the Word of God, numbers or big forums like Lambeth are of lesser importance than the testimony about our true faith, which is our duty and strength.

This could yet be another test of the GAFCON to see if they compromise with the organizers of Lambeth, ACC or AC. On the other hand the organizers of the Lambeth would also try to find out how firm the leadership of GAFCON stands to its commitment.

The entire world is looking up to GAFCON and not only the folks of the Provinces listed for GAFCON
    so far.
