Two Resolutions of the 2007 Mere Anglicanism Conference
Resolved, Those Gathering at the Annual Meeting of the Mere Anglicanism Conference,
Express our thanks to Archbishop Rowan Williams for inviting Bishop Robert Duncan to the Meeting of the Primates of the Anglican Communion in Tanzania in February 2007,
Express our belief that Robert Duncan speaks for us, in our many and diverse voices, all of whom seek to be loyal Anglicans and wish to have a viable future in America where persons of traditional faith and and conviction are increasingly marginalized, pressured, and hurt, and
Express our fervent desire for a provision to be made for us, under the leadership of Robert Duncan and others, in the form of immediate and meaningful structural relief.

Resolved, Those Gathering at the Annual Meeting of the Mere Anglicanism Conference,
Express our firm support for those faithful Anglicans in England who felt compelled to formulate “A Covenant for the Church of England”
Express our sadness that they were moved to do so because of leadership in their dioceses which has capitulated to culture and radically compromised Christian faith and morals, a situation we experience in our own Province, and
Express our plea to the leadership of the Church of England to provide a future place for these Anglicans where they can engage in evangelism and church growth unhindered and unencumbered.
