Anglican Network in Canada - latest news
I look forward with great anticipation to the results of the vote in St. John’s Shaugnessy of Vancouver. May the people of that Parish be led by the Holy Spirit in making their decision.
Posted by on 02/14 at 10:33 AMPlease keep us updated with the outcome. Shaugnessy I think has a strong vote. His side should win.

More Parishes will be voting over the course of the next month and a half and this will be a great encouragement to them. God’s people are on the move out of the Church that is openly teaching false doctrine. Amen.

Only 9 people abstained from voting, not 26 as shown above.GOD BLESS Rev. David Shortt, Rector of St. John’s Shaughnessy and also Dr. J.I. PACKER who is a member of that particular congregation. This is a tremendous vote and a Blessing to other parishes who will be strengthened by the courage of St. John’s Shaughnessy.
Gary, I only post to this blog what I feel is the right stuff to post. God has blessed me by showing me the way to places like GSA and Southern Cone and Virtueonline, etc. and allowing me to voice my mind and to stand up for The Holy Bible and Jesus Christ.
I have the wonderful gift of living in a Country where up to this date we are allowed to speak our mind (most of the time) without fear of being murdered. We in North America have not yet learned what it is to be living in such fear because of our faith. Our time will come for that to be a part of our everyday life. We are becoming more oppressed every time we turn around so we must stand on The Word and live the Word, not be spelling GOD as J O B....like many in the TEC and Anglican Church of Canada are doing.
Posted by on 02/15 at 01:10 AMThe Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada urges parishes to remain within the Anglican Church in Canada--WHY?
It is no secret that Archbishop Fred Hiltz, a Liberal, is an open supporter of same-Sex Blessings, and voted for same-sex blessing.
Paradoxically, the synod also declared that blessing same-sex marriages does not conflict with the core doctrine of the Anglican Church of Canada. And the newly elected leader of the church, Halifax Bishop Fred Hiltz, voted for gay blessings(By Rex Wockner Published: July 5, 2007
).“How long must this conversation continue?” Hiltz asked. “On the one hand, we said it is a matter of doctrine, but not creedal — that is, not essential to one’s salvation, shall we say. But on the other hand, the church is not prepared ... to proceed immediately with the blessing of same-sex unions(By Rex Wockner Published: July 5, 2007
).””Have you ever noticed that it is the revisionist that diatribe against division. Instead of starting their own Mormon, jehovah’s Witnesses, or Gay Church for Christ--they invade and pervert our Churches with their false doctrines.
Archbishop Fred Hiltz stated in this article, “In our Anglican tradition, individuals who choose to leave the Church over contentious issues cannot take property and other assets with them.”
How ironic, Hiltz hammers home the Anglican tradition as it relates to property and assets, but ignores Anglican tradition when it comes to same-sex blessings, and/or marriages.

They surely must have calculated the cost and must further be prepared to fight the war of faith and life. I believe they will overcome.
